Founded in 2011, the University of Washington Master of Supply Chain Transportation & Logistics program prepares students for the increasing demands of the global logistics and supply chain industries. Faculty and industry experts with real-world experience teach data-driven decision-making, AI/ML and optimization, integration and collaboration, and critical-thinking skills.

Our Rankings

The program ranks high among supply chain management graduate programs in the country. Our program has been named #1 for innovative education and received the 2021 Innovation in Education Award from the ITE Transportation Education Council, and Gartner has ranked our program #20 among best graduate programs in supply chain.

Affiliations

The Master of Supply Chain Transportation & Logistics program is offered by the UW Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering in collaboration with UW Continuum College. Students in the program will learn from advanced research by the cross-sector Urban Freight Lab, an innovative partnership of private industry, academic researchers, and public transportation agencies working in collaboration to design, test and evaluate solutions for freight management in cities.

We actively engage with artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics through the Artificial Intelligence 4 Supply Chain initiative (AI4SC). With this platform, we facilitate insightful discussions, explore practical applications, and share insights and resources to facilitate a deeper understanding of AI and how to leverage it for more efficient, resilient, and optimized supply chains.
